The public test cases for your projects have been posted on the Homeworks page. Once you are confident that your project is done, please verify that your design executes the public test cases correctly and then email the TA's to set up a time when we can run our “secret” test cases on your design.

We have decided to extend the due date for Homework 2 to February 12th. It is now due at the start of discussion sections.
To help you do well on your projects, we have gathered some advice from former EE 382N students and posted it on the Handouts page.
As announced in discussion sessions, all three sunapp machines have been upgraded. Please see the updated VCS Manual for new environment setup instructions. Make sure you are able to run VCS well in advance of the Homework 2 due date.

Please try to attend the upcoming computer architecture seminar on Monday, January 28th, at 3:30pm in ACES 2.402
The upcoming VLSI seminar on Tuesday, January 22nd, may be of interest to many of you. The seminar will be conducted at the same time as our scheduled discussion session (5 to 6:30pm); however, you may come to the extra discussion session at 6:30pm.
For those students who have a schedule conflict and cannot attend the discussion session on Tuesdays, 5 to 6:30pm, the TAs will hold an additional discussion session in ENS 109 also on Tuesdays, but at 6:30 to 8pm.
VCS is currently not working on sunapp1. Please use sunapp2 or sunapp3 to work around this problem.
Students not taking the class for credit can officially audit the class by by getting the appropriate signatures on this form.
